You reminded me that planting season will eventually arrive in the north (as in late May or early June) but in the meantime there are many ways to plant seeds. She is largely responsible for my becoming a romance writer. As an adult I wrote her a letter and she wrote me back even though she was in ill health. I still remember my older sister bringing home her book "The Golden Unicorn." It truly changed my life.BelleChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03053178413674411382noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4945907563318808519.post-12997287605696037042018-03-23T09:04:58.550-07:002018-03-23T09:04:58.550-07:00I haven't gardened in years. I love to garden, but I haven't figured out how to do that here in the desert. I know people garden around here. We also do so much traveling that it's hard to maintain a garden when we're gone.Merrilleehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08617320163408645299noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4945907563318808519.post-57391647910943251912018-03-23T08:04:28.814-07:002018-03-23T08:04:28.814-07:00You're so right that we plant seeds even when ...You're so right that we plant seeds even when we don't realize it. That's one of the reasons, I suspect, that we choose to write Christian literature. As for gardening, I live in the Ozarks, where topsoil is shallow, so I plant in straw bales. We're behind Texas season-wise, so I have to wait a couple more weeks to begin planting--but I'm ready! The book sounds great, by the way.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02611859528304520995noreply@blogger.com
