I like the idea of a skydiving school. skydiving is one of those activities I'd love to try but am afraid to try. I also like the white water rafting idea. Hmmm. I will explore these ideas and let you know what I come up with in upcoming books. Thanks so much.Terri Reedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18162233044268346894noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4945907563318808519.post-19882064030349042032011-10-19T09:04:18.094-07:002011-10-19T09:04:18.094-07:00Hi Terri:

One student is killed when the parachute does not open correctly. The hero is an ex-pilot who was badly injured in a plane crash which killed his wife and child. It was not pilot error but he blames himself. He is now a detective.

Why are the accidents happening?
1. trying to close the school
2. trying to kill the heroine
3. trying to kill someone else
4. some other nefarious reason

The idea would be to show a whole lot about skydiving so the reader could learn about it and experience the thrills. Of course, the hero has a problem because he won’t get in a plane to say nothing of actually flying one again.

I like stories where I learn about interesting activities. This could also be about mountain climbing, skin diving, white water river rafting.

VinceVincehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12707773426729777989noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4945907563318808519.post-9386369228779462072011-10-19T08:09:01.252-07:002011-10-19T08:09:01.252-07:00Ooooh - your blurb hooked me totally. What a great premise!

Have you thought about a mixture of natural disasters and crime. The heightened nature of things you can't control is always intriguing to me.
