Patricia Davids

Winner of the RITA Award for excellence in fiction, Linda Goodnight has won numerous other highly acclaimed awards, and her romance novels have been translated into more than a dozen languages. An avid supporter of the charity Stop Child Trafficking Now, this former nurse and teacher enjoys writing fiction that carries a message of hope and light in a sometimes dark world. Linda lives on a small farm/ranch in Oklahoma with her husband and daughter.

As newlyweds, Jean and her college-sweetheart husband tried the city life in Los Angeles, but quickly returned home to their native Upstate New York. A professional financial planner, Jean is at home writing tax- and financial-planning articles as she is writing novels, but finds novels a lot more fun. She and her husband share a 170-year-old farmhouse just south of Albany, NY, with their daughter, son-in-law, two grandchildren and a menagerie of pets. Their son lives nearby. While Jean creates stories set in small-town Upstate New York, her family grows organic vegetables and tends the livestock de jour. And when she's not writing, she shares her love of books with others by volunteering at her church's Book Nook.

Leann has always had stories running around inside her head.  When her youngest child started elementary school, she finally gathered her nerve and began writing.  She joined RWA in 1987 and is a charter member of Dallas Area Romance Authors and former president.   Her first published novel was a finalist in Romance Writers of America Golden Heart contest and was nominated by Romantic Times as one of the best first novels.   She had a BS in speech from the University of Texas at Austin and is a certified teacher of the deaf.

Her favorite hobby is spoiling her grandchildren, but she also enjoys reading, watching movies, listening to music (The Texas Tenors are her fav), singing in the church choir, and exploring the Rocky Mountains on horseback.

Enthusiastic but slightly untidy mother of two, Allie Pleiter writes both fiction and non-fiction.  An avid knitter, harp player, and non-reformed chocoholic, she spends her days writing books, doing laundry, running carpools, and finding new ways to avoid housework.  Allie grew up in Connecticut, holds a BS in Speech from Northwestern University, and currently lives in suburban Chicago, Illinois.  The "dare from a friend" to begin writing eight years ago has blossomed into a career that includes numerous public speaking engagements, two books on parenting; BECOMING A CHIEF HOME OFFICER and FACING EVERY MOM'S FEARS, and now novels for Steeple Hill.  She is the mother of two children and, most recently, a Havanese dog named Bella.

Terri Reed grew up in a small town nestled in the foothills of the Sierra-Nevada Mountains. To entertain herself, she created stories in her head and when she put those stories to paper, her teachers in grade school, high school and college encouraged her imagination. Living in Italy as an exchange student whetted Terri's appetite for travel, and modeling in New York, Chicago and San Francisco gave her a love for the big city, as well. She has also coached gymnastics, taught in a preschool and currently works part-time for a big department store. From a young age Terri attended church, but it wasn't until her thirties that she really understood the meaning of a faith-filled life. Now living in Portland, Oregon, with her college-sweetheart husband, two wonderful children, a rambunctious Australian Shepherd and a fat guinea pig, she feels blessed to be able to share her stories and her faith with the world.
