Janet Lee Barton was born in New Mexico and has lived all over the South, in Arkansas, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma and Texas. She loves researching and writing historical romance and writing about a forever kind of love. Janet and her husband now live in his home state of Oklahoma, and are part of what they laughingly call their Generational Living Experiment with their daughter and her husband, two wonderful granddaughters, and a Shih Tzu called Bella. The experiment has turned into quite an adventure and so far, they think it's working out just fine. Janet has written twenty novels, both historical and contemporary, and five novellas. Her first LIH, Somewhere To Call Home, comes out in November, 2012.

A self-professed crazy chicken lady, Danica Favorite loves the adventure of living a creative life. She and her family recently moved in to their dream home in the mountains above Denver, Colorado. Danica loves to explore the depths of human nature and follow people on the journey to happily ever after. Though the journey is often bumpy, those bumps are what refine imperfect characters as they live the life God created them for. Oops, that just spoiled the ending of all of Danica’s stories. Then again, getting there is all the fun.

Rhonda Gibson resides in New Mexico with her husband. She writes romance because she is eager to share her love of the Lord. Besides writing, her interests are reading and scrapbooking recipes. Rhonda loves hearing from her readers!

When I was a girl, I had a plan. First, I would marry the man of my dreams. Next, we would have four children (two girls and two boys) before we turned thirty. Then, since they would all be grown by the time we turned fifty, I would find something new and wonderful to do with the second half of my life. And guess what? That’s exactly what has happened.

Winnie Griggs has written historical and contemporary romances for three different lines. A small town girl herself, Winnie’s books focus on family and community and matters of faith - all subjects that are near and dear to her own heart. In fact, the motto on her website reads “Small Towns, Big Hearts, Amazing Grace”
Winnie has been married for 35 years to her college sweetheart and together they have raised four children and a too-numerous-to-count assortment of dogs, cats, fish, hamsters, turtles and 4-H sheep. Besides reading and writing, Winnie’s favorite activities include cooking, exploring flea markets and pretending the growing army of dust bunnies who have invaded her home will disappear if she just ignores them.

Award-winning author Keli Gwyn writes stories that transport readers to the 1800s, where she brings historic towns to life, peoples them with colorful characters and adds a hint of humor. A California native, she lives in the Gold Rush-era town of Placerville at the foot of the majestic Sierra Nevada Mountains.

When Keli’s fingers aren’t hovering over the keyboard of her newfangled laptop, she enjoys strolling past stately Victorian houses in her historic town, burying her nose in reference books as she unearths interesting facts to include in her stories and interacting with other romance readers. Her favorite places to visit are her fictional worlds, other Gold Rush-era towns and historical museums. She loves hearing from readers and invites you to visit her Victorian-style cyber home at www.keligwyn.com, where you’ll find her contact information.
A romantic at heart, Patty Smith Hall is an award winning, multi-published author. Her stories of encouragement and hope can be found in Guideposts, Journey and Chicken Soup for the Nurse’s Soul. Her award winning manuscript, Hearts in Flight, was be released by Love Inspired Historical in July, 2011. Patty resides in her home state of Georgia along with Dan, her husband of 28 years.

Christine is a small-town Michigan girl who has lived in every corner of the state's Lower Peninsula. From a young age, she knew she wanted to do something in the arts. After trying her hand at music and art, she returned to her first love -- story. She holds a bachelor's degree in English and a master's degree in library studies from the University of Michigan. She feels blessed to write and to be twice named a finalist for Romance Writer's of America's Golden Heart® award.  When not at the computer keyboard, she loves to hike and explore God's majestic creation. She participates in her church's healing prayer ministry and has experienced firsthand the power of prayer. These days, she and her husband, a Great Lakes ship pilot, split their time between northern Michigan and the Florida Keys.

Debbie Kaufman

I'm the wife of a fishing fanatic and mother to three beautiful, wild little boys. I've adored reading since I was little, especially romances. I love writing inspirational romances that involve tons of passion and represent the amazing, intense love God has for us.

Allie Pleiter
Enthusiastic but slightly untidy mother of two, Allie Pleiter writes both fiction and non-fiction.  An avid knitter, harp player, and non-reformed chocoholic, she spends her days writing books, doing laundry, running carpools, and finding new ways to avoid housework.  Allie grew up in Connecticut, holds a BS in Speech from Northwestern University, and currently lives in suburban Chicago, Illinois.  The "dare from a friend" to begin writing eight years ago has blossomed into a career that includes numerous public speaking engagements, two books on parenting; BECOMING A CHIEF HOME OFFICER and FACING EVERY MOM'S FEARS, and now novels for Steeple Hill.  She is the mother of two children and, most recently, a Havanese dog named Bella.

Sherri Shackelford
A wife and mother of three, Sherri’s hobbies include collecting mismatched socks, discovering new ways to avoid cleaning, and standing in the middle of the room while thinking, “Why did I just come in here?” A reformed pessimist and recent hopeful romantic, Sherri has a passion for writing. Her books are fun and fast-paced, with plenty of heart and soul.
