ReplyDeletePersonally, I believe it is a wonderful way to market their books to people who may have never read something by a particular author. I know I have read many, many reviews on books that have been written by authors that I have either never heard of or never gave a second thought about. I have won some wonderful books by some of those same authors and now the authors are on my "can't wait to see what they write next" list. I have also bought some of the books that are hosted on giveaways because they just look and sound so good.
