Standing before Fire Control Officer Matt Cutter is a five-year-old replica of himself—the son he never knew he had. All Matt wants to do is hug little Davie and make up for the lost years. But forest ranger Andie Foster, the boy's mother whom Matt left behind, is understandably afraid. How can Matt possibly explain the lapse of faith—in God and himself—that drove him away from what he loved most? And will the lovely forest ranger give him a second chance to be a husband and father forever?
I love this cover, the colors are amazing and it's different than any others I've seen recently. And I really enjoyed this reunion story. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Karen! I loved this cover too. It's the first one they've given me with the hero on the front cover. I usually get kids and cute animals. :) I'm glad you enjoyed the story, too. Hotshots really are adrenaline junkies, so the story was quite true-to-life. Thanks for writing. :)
ReplyDeleteOh, lovely cover and an awesome story - I'm helpless with this surprise sons and daughters... you know, the relation, the connection one isn't prepared to feel but surges all of the sudden.
ReplyDeleteGoing to love your book Leigh. Best Wishes!!!
