Terri Reed here. Its Wednesday. I'm not sure why but this day of the week I tend to feel blue.
As in tired, cranky, needing some chocolate. I think part of it is the adrenaline from the weekend has worn off by Wednesday but then next weekend doesn't start for another two days. Not that every weekend is adrenaline filled. Some weekends are lazy and relaxing which makes Wednesday hard because that laid back, life is good feeling has diminished. However I remind myself that every day is a day the Lord has made and I WILL be glad in it and rejoice!
So Happy Wednesday everyone! I'm raising my glass of orange Izzy's in salute to Hump Day. Its a beautiful 79 degrees here in Oregon. That is worth rejoicing over!
What's the crazy weather doing in your part of the world?

Hi Terri,
ReplyDeleteThe weather here is making me so sleepy on this hump day. It's pouring rain - not as bad as Florida, but a lot!
It's also math state testing for my class so I'm feeling those hump day blues right along with you.
Rainy days are good for napping. So is Math! A subject I am no good at. Are you a teacher? Wow, I so admire those who can do numbers. My head swims if I have to do much with them.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping in.
Here in Georgia we've had dark skies all day, but in my area it never actually rained (today---but we've had a lot lately). I feel so bad for the folks in FL that have awful flooding.
ReplyDeleteBut I try not to complain about any bad weather we do have, because we've also had lots of gorgeous spring days!
Blessings, Patti Jo :)
Ha! We're not that far from snow here in MI with temps in the low 40s. Lots of gray skies and rain lately, which is better than snow. Rejoice! My hyacinths have finally started to bloom.
ReplyDeleteWow the weather is so strange this year. Its 95 here in Portland. I can't remember the last time it got this hot. My poor flowers are wilting.
ReplyDeleteAt least here, we're prepared for the rain. Not sure Florida is for the amount of water they are getting.
Hah, I've never heard the expression hump day. Had to look it up. Guess I don't get out much. :)
ReplyDeleteExcept...it's described as the absolute BEST day of the week, the day of maximum hope that maybe, you might make it out of this week alive. LOL
