I'm feeling so thankful for the sunshine after the dark clouds this morning! The afternoon doesn't look a bit like the storm that's headed our way. Birds are singing, daffodils are blooming, and my stuck place in the manuscript is coming unstuck! :)
Im thankful that after a rough start this week I am averaging 40 mins a day walking in the morning. I am going to keep a record and see that even with a few bad days I still average a good amount of walking. This condition will not beat me.
Here in Georgia we're also having a beautiful day---Thank the Lord! I wish the weather didn't affect my moods, but I'm finding that the *older* I get, the more weather plays a part in how I feel (physically and emotionally).
Jenny Blake, YAY for you, girl! So happy you're able to do that daily walking. Continued prayers for my sweet Aussie friend. Hugs, Patti Jo
I'm thankful for the Spring Into Beauty event happening at my church Saturday afternoon where many ladies will be blessed. I'm grateful to have been invited to host the creative writing station and look forward to encouraging those attendees who share my fondness for the written word. I'm relieved to have all the preparation behind me. Now for the fun!
I'm blessed by Frank Forth's friendship, a dear widower in his 80s. He took a terrible fall on WED and ended up with 25 stitches. I visited him today, and he's bruised but still smiling and praising the Lord.
Thank you craftie ladies for reminding me to count my blessings even though I'm moving and unpacking boxes full of junk covered in desert dust while listening to my whining, barking chihuahaus.
I'm feeling really blessed today because it's so nice and sunny out. I'm tempted to spend all day sitting on my back swing. Spring is here!
ReplyDeleteI think my good thing last week was weather related.
But my moods really are based on the weather. How about you? Does the weather affect your mood?
Friends who pray for you. Thank you, Lord, and thanks to each person who prayed. Love poured over me and held me up.

ReplyDeleteI'm grateful that I'm at the Tucson Festival of Books and about to learn from soooo many authors. Oh, and I got a hug from Merrillee Whren today.
