Pamela Tracy here with the first extra clue.
ReplyDeleteMy tree is not themed. Most of the ornaments came from my days as an elementary school teacher. My students liked to give ornaments, both store bought and home made.
By the way, I do like clutter.
I'll give you a hint: My Christmas tree is actually a Christmas cactus (pretty good hint, right?) I'd love to send someone a copy of The Engagement Bargain...
ReplyDeleteHere's a hint from me: Not only do we enjoy tea at my house but we also like a little cake every now and again.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! Can't wait to see if anyone gets it right. :)
ReplyDeleteSince there are so many angels, here's an additional hint for me: there's a mirror nearby.
Our first Christmas as a married couple my husband gave me an angel tree topper..every year after that my mother and some of my students have me angel ornaments. ... so my tree looks themed but it is really full of special memories.
ReplyDeleteSomehow we manage to celebrate Christmas here in Florida without a flake of snow.

ReplyDeleteAnd my tree has more to do with grandchildren than what is on it, and it's full of wonderful memories for them and us.
ReplyDeleteMine has an angel on the top and a train on the bottom.
ReplyDeleteI saw this shared on facebook and had to join in! Here's my attempt at guessing the trees. I was confused because it said 1-20 but there are 22 trees. I went through and put the ones I was pretty sure about, but then had to guess for the rest, and ended up with some obvious so not rights lol. I couldn't find anywhere tree 17 fit and tree 8 I picked for a couple of guesses. It finally came down to what was left over. This was a lot of fun and I enjoyed seeing all the trees. Especially loved the snow covered tree. I love snow!

In my tree I have a NOEL ornament.
ReplyDeleteMargaret
Eveyone probably knows how much I love dogs. I have a dog character in every book I write. (Although right now I'm mixing things up and in my current manuscript the heroine has a kitten. gasp!)
ReplyDeleteOne year, in addition to our big Christmas tree where we hang all of our traditional and sentimental ornaments, I decided to have a tiny tree for our dogs. It was only a foot tall, and it had all doggy ornaments on it. I had a Christmas party that year, and after people saw my little doggy tree, I started getting dog ornaments as gifts. Now I have so many that the doggy tree has grown into another full-sized tree. It's in our den and our other big tree is in the living room. I tried to convince my husband this year that I need a pink 5-foot tree with cupcake ornaments in my writing room, but he's not buying it. Merry Christmas!! xo
Well, here goes. This was fun! Thanks!

Lots of angels, so another clue...Garland of red, curtain of white, and lights that are bright, bright, bright!
ReplyDeleteAnother hint for my tree - my fondness for Winnie-The-Pooh is showing through...

ReplyDeleteMy next clue, every Christmas my in-laws send my children a gift to be opened as soon as they receive it.
ReplyDeleteTo see a picture of the two ornaments go to :

I love green and red wrapping paper.

ReplyDeleteHowdy All,
ReplyDeleteWow, what a showing :)
So far, the most commonly missed tree is number four, with number seventeen coming in next. She's even given you permission to go to her website and see two of her ornaments.
The person who sent number four has come on with a clue here in the comments.
I'd go look :)
BTW, everyone has found Pamela Tracy's train!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat can I say, I have a nine year old son.
This is such fun! I love seeing all the trees.
ReplyDeleteChristmas will be different for Gwynly and me this year. Our gal is working over in Austria and will be spending her vacation with in France with friends she made while working there last year.
Adriana got to make a trip to Nürnberg, Germany last week, the city where she was born, and was able to experience the famous Christkindlesmarkt (Christmas market) held there. I asked her to pick up some decorations to add to our collection, which she did. Can't wait to see them.
There's a huge clue in my comment for those seeking them. :-)
Oops. I forgot to mention that most of our German decorations are wooden, like the lovely Holy Family figures that sit on our coffee table. We bought the two figures from the woodcarver himself in the town of Oberammergau, Germany where the Passion Play takes place.
ReplyDeleteNow you really do have a clue!
Well, Deb made her extra clue RHYME, so I feel like a slouch. LOL
ReplyDelete:)
This was so much fun and I loved seeing everyone's beautiful tree! Thank you for the fantastic giveaway!! Merry Christmas!

Thanks for having this contest! It was fun.
Dear Authors,
ReplyDeleteYou have no idea how much I want to win this contest. However, as I noted in my entry, there were some (I think) unintentional giveaways. In going back through now, I saw more and I don't know how many of those I unconsciously may have seen in matching up the trees. So basically I may have cheated without trying to by noticing things the creators missed. So please don't pick me as the winner. :( Merry Christmas!
My hint has to do with taking the TIME to be still and find peace in your heart, no matter what you might be dealing with in life :)
ReplyDeleteDawn, you didn't cheat at all! We were trying to throw out clues to help since it's so difficult. :)
ReplyDeleteWe have some good guessers :)
ReplyDeleteI wrote 1 to 22 on a yellow pad, read all the clues, read some of the guesses, and was overwhelmed with all of it. I give up without a fight! I hope one of you good guessers wins! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks to several authors who have commented to me privately and made me feel better about this. If a winner has not been picked yet, I'd like to toss my entry back into the contest because I do really want to win this. The authors who contacted me were right - I didn't cheat - those unintentional giveaways are there for everyone to see and they don't give all the trees away just a few. Merry Christmas everyone!
ReplyDeleteYikes! I didn't realize how much time this would take! Hope I am right and not toooo late.
