This is pretty scientifically dense for this non-scientist, but I'm always looking for ways to exercise and strengthen the mind, especially since dementia lurks in the family history.

  1. It's funny you've been reading about Georgia Tann and her baby black market, Debbi. The heroine in my Jan 2016, The Baby Barter tries to recover her sister's baby from Georgia Tann.

    Really great reading selections, ladies!

  2. Patty, what a great backdrop for your story! Remember the movie, staring Mary Tyler Moore? My heart breaks for all those women who "lost" their babies through Ms. Tann's duplicity!

Great lineup of reads today. Always fun to see what everyone has in their own personal libraries!

  3. I sound so sloth-like - I haven't finished anything lately. Really it's a case of jumping around from book to book while I work on my WIP.

Does anyone else have a bunch of different books going and whichever one you pick up at any given moment is based on your mood at the time? Because each of these books is different, I can easily jump around without losing the story.

  4. I really have three books. There's the house book (Tina's) My kindle on the go book (Don't remember the author. It's an indy) and my book on tape in the car (Barbara Samuals).

Plus, I've two started that I pushed aside - haven't grabbed me yet.
