Birthday Book Bash--Lenora Worth

We're celebrating spring here at the Craftie Ladies Lounge. Since my birthday is this week, I wanted to celebrate with all of our lovely bloggers and our treasured readers. So we'll be giving away a whole bunch of books to one lucky blogger this week. All you have to do is SAY SOMETHING on the blog Monday - Thursday of this week and your name will be entered in a drawing for the Book Bash. Then I'll announce the winner on Friday in my Ask Elnora blog. After that, well, sister, just sit back and wait for the books to arrive. It's like Christmas and the Fourth of July all wrapped up as one! I love presents, and having our readers present here on our blog is ever so nice. So let's celebrate fifteen years of Love Inspired and way too many years of yours truly. And if that isn't enough fun, I just found out that April is National Grilled Cheese Month! How did anyone know that a good grilled cheese sandwich is one of my favorite things to eat! So I'm grilling up cheese sandwiches for everyone! We have cheddar on sourdough, white cheddar (one of my favorites) on dark pumpernickel and American on wheat, maybe with a little pesto mixed in. We'll have a batch of my famous blow-out cookies, too. That's dark chocolate chips, white chocolate chips and oatmeal, peanut butter and mini M&Ms and a few Georgis pecans thrown in for good measure. I have lemonade (pink)of course, and all kinds of creamy coffee mixtures. And we have to have cake, right. Red velvet cupcakes for every birthday girl in the world! Don't you love a good party!!! And wait, there's more--I also have a book out this month:
And so do lots of my friends here! Just to remind our readers, here are some of our books through the years, too:
So, let's kick back and have some fun. I recently bought the Lionel Richie CD "Tuskegee". Yes, I buy myself presents. I'm putting it on the record player. Oh, what a feeling. I'm dancing on the ceiling! It's a great CD because he does duets with several of my favorite country singers. Yes, I like country music! I know it's Monday but .... spread the word. Time to flip the sandwiches. Don't let me sit here all alone at my own party!

Happy Birthday Lenora, I got some birthday money which I am using to buy some bulbs hopefully this week.
I recognise several of those books in the photo. (I actually have many in my bookcase).
love the food you are providing although never had sourbread. Not sure I have had red velvet cake either. But it sounds yummy.
I do like cupcakes.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!

I also am not used to those food, I can only guess what they are. But cake? I do know about cake and anyway, what is a birthday without cake? Not complete!

Bon Anniversaire!

Lots of love from NIGERIA.

The books aren't showing up on my screen but since I buy every Love Inspired book in all three lines I can get my hands on, I can imagine.

Happiest of Birthdays. Even though it is not GRILLED cheese, I am adding a cheesecake with fresh strawberries on top. It's strawberry season here in NC!

Peace, Julie

Thanks for all the good wishes. AusJenny, red velvet cake is chocolate cake with red food coloring. With cream cheese icing. Olufisayo, I love the wishes and my card!! Julie, I consider cheesecake as one of the major food groups.

Happy birthday week Lenora. If you were still nearby I'd take you out but you'll have to settle for a cyber celebration. Save me one of those grilled cheese sandwiches and I'll add some gingersnap pie to the buffet.

Happy Birthday week, Lenora! Hope it's a great one! I have a daughter that loves red velvet cake. I, sadly, am allergic to all that is chocolate so I will have to choose something else! I love caramel in all forms or let's say strawberry! Now that it's spring, I love berries of any kind! The celebration sounds fantastic! I'm leaving in two days to see my son graduate college! How wonderful is that! I also get to see my new grand baby and that's a real big plus :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LENORA!!!! I'll pass on the grilled cheese--too much salt! Can't they make cheese without so much salt? I can bring some of those gormet cupcakes! Chocolate Mousse is my favorite!

Love the list of books. Haven't read any of them.

Lenora,
The grilled cheese on sourdough sounds too good. Ausjenny, if you haven't tried a grilled cheese, all you have to do is put your favorite cheese between 2 slices of bread, then melt butter in a skillet and put the sandwich in, turn it until the bread is golden brown. That with a bowl of tomato soup is the best lunch ever. Of course, the cookies at the end help.
