HELP US PICK A PHOTO

Hello Everyone, Sandra Orchard here.

I'm very excited to share with you nine gorgeous photos that our own Lenora Worth has shared from her personal collection, three additional photos that one of our authors has bought rights to share.
Now here's what we'd like you to do:

Tell us which one you like best!

The winner will become our new Facebook banner and perhaps the blog's as well.

You see...we have a Facebook page for the Craftie Ladies. Recently Facebook has changed how pages look and it allows us to place one photo along the top of the page that best depicts who we are.

Who are we? Writers and readers of inspirational romance and romantic suspense.

So...without further ado, I give you the photos:

ONE

TWO

THREE

FOUR

FIVE

SIX

SEVEN

EIGHT

NINE

TEN

ELEVEN

TWELVE

YOUR TURN: Please, tell us which one you like best. Or list your top three picks in order of preference.

  1. I like 11 best. its very much home I would love to live in as would many heroines I am sure. it could be historical, contemporary or even suspense and it was the photo that jumped out at me.
if I have to pick a second its would be 6 I like the park area its got a bit of mystery to it but also a romantic place.
last 9 love the sunflowers and the old building. The people ones are ok but I think its better without the people in them.

  2. I like the stark beauty of #2 and #8...but I also like the majestic beauty of #5.

  3. #11 is my first pick as the white picket fence and beautiful yellow flowers speak to me of comfort and love.
#6,the wooden walkway in the woods reminds me of times spent in solitude just listening to the calming sounds of nature while reading or writing.
#8,there is just something that I like with the big lone tree and the water with boats there just waiting for adventure.

  6. 1 & 11. They would work well for all the genres I think.

  10. Love all the responses we're getting. I'm going to leave this open for a few more days...I only just remembered to post it on our Facebook page!

So far #11 is our runaway leader. The yellow flowers certainly suit the yellow background of our blog.

Of course...as a suspense writer in the group, I'm more partial to the yellow sunflowers with the old building. Seems to have more potentially ominous undertones. :)

I should note that, since photos 9 through 12 are stock photos, I'm not sure if we can "add our name to them" See this page: http://www.facebook.com/bonniescalhounsnarkandsuspense as an example of what I mean.

Any one who hasn't voted. Please don't be shy!!!

  12. I commented already, but seeing it today, I got to thinking.

Combine a little of 1 and 2, the floral for romance and the barreness for the mystery.

  13. I like that idea, Carmen, maybe we need a 3 panel strip with the two you mentioned and the white picket fence for historical. :)

  14. 10. It conveys romance without putting a face to it. But honestly, I'm wondering if we couldn't use several? Like a collage of them. My personal blog banner has something like that on it, and I really like the overall feel. You could do one of flowers and one of hand holding and one of suspense or something like that, and then you would get all the ideas. It's hard to find just one picture to cover everything from contemporary romantic suspense to tender love stories to sweeping historicals. Just a thought. :-)

  15. Can you marry 11 and 12? Like put 12 in a frame on 11?
