I love this blog and I love the Love Inspired Historicals that come out each month. This month my first Love Inspired Historical, The Marshal's Promise came out.
Isn't Seth Handsome? Sigh.... |
I was thinking about what great company I am in.
Also this month we have Allie Pleiter's book, Homefront Hero. I've been a fan of Allie's for a long time. Her books never disappoint me, so if you haven't read her before. Read this one! I'm sure it will be a winner, too.
Lacy Williams is an Oklahoma girl like me, I grew up in Oklahoma but have been transplanted to New Mexico. The Homesteader's Sweetheart, sounds like my kind of story and I plan on reading it next.
As you can see, I am blessed to be a Love Inspired Historial author. All the Love Inspired authors are great! And I have lots of favorites. I just finished reading Brides Of The West by Janet Dean, Victoria Bylin, and Pamela Nissen.
I'm curious, which Love Inspired book/author did you read last?
Rhonda, where is your cover?
ReplyDeleteThe last LI was a LIS and its June release I forget the name but its by Valarie Hansen. The last LI was Missy Tippens A house full of Hope. I am now reading Sanctuary for a Lady.
I have read Lacy's book the Homesteaders family and its really good.
I just got Brides of the west in the post today.
Congratulations on your debut, Rhonda!
ReplyDeletePost your cover, girl!! :-) I saw these out at Walmart the other day. They look great!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Jessica, what's missing is your cover. The LIH covers are awesome.
ReplyDeleteI just bought all 3 of these books, also bought The Marshal's Promise
ReplyDeleteGood morning everyone! I forgot my cover!!! Well, silly me... I'll be sure and add it in a few minutes :)
ReplyDeleteThanks to everyone who has purchased The Marshal's Promise. I have to say, I LOVE my cover... Seth is mighty fine looking.
Ok... off to get The Marshal's Promise added to this post.
Great cover! The hero's name is Seth? That is my youngest son's name and I rarely come across his name in books! Very cool. My oldest's name is Joshua and that's a different story...
ReplyDeleteThanks Tracy!
ReplyDeleteYes, his name is Seth. I have always loved that name. Joshua is a favorite of mine too. I was going to name my son, Joshua Lee (side note: husbands family all the boys have JL for their initals) but I had a cousin who was having a baby a week earlier and guess who nabbed Joshua Lee...
Lance would have been a Joshua or a Seth, had I married a different man or my cousin hadn't nabbed the name first... LOL
On a side note...
ReplyDeleteI'm at NovelPastimes http://www.novelpastimes.com/ Giving away a copy of The Marshal's Promise today
And I'm doing a Question and Answers session on Goodreads http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/887637-q-a-with-may-authors?format=html&page=2#comment_form also giving away a copy of the Marshal's Promise there
So feel free to pop over and comment at either site :) Thanks!!
Rhonda, congrats on your debut. Love Seth and your beautiful cover!!!
ReplyDeleteI recently read Ruth Logan Hernes' YULETIDE HEARTS. Ruthy always does a great job with her stories, full of emotion and lots of tugs on the heartstrings.
Beautiful covers on beautiful books by beautiful ladies! A triple threat :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Debby...
ReplyDeleteI haven't read Ruth's book yet, I'll have to do that :) Looking forward to it!
Aw thanks Sherri :)
ReplyDeleteLove the sound of your book, Rhonda!
ReplyDeleteLast LI I read......not sure 'cause I read Sandra's Shades of Truth
Hannah Alexander's Eye of the Storm Missy's A house Full of Hope.....all about the same time and all were very good!
Congratulations, Rhonda, and welcome to the LIH family!
