Fall Decorating
Missy Tippens, here. Okay, I know some of you are already thinking of decorating for Christmas. :) But I always refuse to miss out on celebrating Thanksgiving. And I finally bought a beautiful fall wreath for my front door. I just love it and thought I'd share it today! So what about you? Do you get into decorating in October and November? Or are you one who just looks forward to December?

We don't have your Thanksgiving so yes only looking forward for Christmas Decor.
ReplyDeleteBut I move some pieces around the house. When Autumn arrives it calls for wraps in the sofas, more bold colours in accents; I think that's one of the aspects I love in Thanksgiving, beside the meaning of course.
Happy Thanksgiving! Love your wreath.
I am so bad at decorating! I need to pay more attention to the aesthetics of my house. It's clean (sort of) and functional, but I'd never call it "decorated."
ReplyDeleteMissy, I love decorating for Autumn and Thanksgiving. I get out my pumpkins and mums (artificial) and go to town. I love it.
ReplyDeleteYou do have a great wreath.
Teresa, I love getting out the blankets for the couch! Although my husband likes the air conditioning in the house to keep it so cool that I sometimes drag it out in the summer. :)
ReplyDeleteAllie, I'm certainly not a decorator. Our house if functional and very lived in. At Christmas, I do a wreath for the door. A tree. And a few lights and greenery on the mantel. :) This fall was a first for me in buying that wreath. Maybe there's hope for me yet! :)
ReplyDeleteOh, and I do pumpkins like you, Leeann! But we haven't carved them in recent years. Just leave them out more as fall decorating than jack-o-lanterns.
ReplyDeleteI'm definitely a Thanksgiving decorator. It's a big holiday for my family.
ReplyDeleteMissy, that wreath is glorious! Thanksgiving and fall colors are my favorite so I love to see lots of Thanksgiving decorations.
