Hi, this is Margaret Daley. I love watching suspense/adventure movies and TV shows.
The Last Ship is a new series on TNT this summer. I didn’t know where they were going to go after finding the vaccine and cure they had been searching for all this season, but the last show of the season, didn’t disappoint me. They changed the direction of the story and gave us a whole new area to explore. As a writer, I have appreciated how the show has developed as well as the characters. Very interesting and intriguing. The Last Ship is a gem among the programs this summer. I can’t wait until next summer for the next season.

What show has captured your interest this summer? Why? What show are you looking forward to this Fall season? I'm looking forward to NCIS: New Orleans. I grew up near New Orleans and think it would be a great backdrop for a story. No wonder I write suspense. That's what I love to watch.
I had never even heard of this show?! I'll have to look it up :)
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of it either. Thanks for the reference.
ReplyDeleteIt's been a decade since I followed a show. The last one was The Gilmore Girls. Bones and CSI Las Vegas had me for awhile but only on DVD. Ack, come to think of it, I watched all the Gilmore Girls on DVD too.
Right now, I'm totally into Outlander. So, first time in a long time, I'm looking at the calendar and thinking, "Just two more days!"
Pamela, I'm enjoying Outlander, too. Last Ship is on TNT.
ReplyDeleteMargaret, I have seen this advertised, but haven't watched it. I am thinking this is something I really need to watch. I do love Eric Dane.lol
ReplyDeleteDan and I saw it advertised. It did look interesting, but we didn't watch it. May have see if we find it before the next season starts.
ReplyDeleteMargaret, I have never heard of this show. If my husband hasn't stumbled across it, I usually don't hear about it. He's the TV person in the house. He watches TV in the evening while I usually spend my time writing. I've started watching some of the shows he watches. We record everything and watch it when we like. Many pluses to that way of watching TV shows, no commercials among them.
ReplyDeleteGwynly and I watch very little TV, so we don't have cable. Instead we get shows from Netflix. One we discovered this summer was The Good Wife. We blasted through all the seasons available and are waiting for the next one. We're currently watching Longmire, but we're going to run out of episodes soon. When that happens we'll revisit past favorites whose latest seasons just hit Netflix, such as NCIS and White Collar.
ReplyDeleteLoved it. If you didn't see it, I'd go back and watch. I didn't know where they were going with the plot, but I loved the twists.
ReplyDeleteMargaret, I've never even heard of that show! I'll have to check it out.
ReplyDeleteI don't get this show here. I had heard from a friend it was really good. I'll have to wait until it comes out on Hulu or Netflix.
ReplyDeleteI don't get Outlander either!
I loved Gilmore Girls. My daughter and I watched it.
Sounds like an interesting show. I'm currently involved in Project Runway. Guilty pleasure! :-)
ReplyDeleteCarolyn, I love Project Runway. I could never create an outfit like they do.
ReplyDeleteI love to watch Rizoli and Isles very much. That show is great, so I can't wait for it to come back in the winter. i will watch NCIS New Orleans, I love the cast and it seems like it will be a great show.
ReplyDeleteI dont have cable T. V. But saw first episode of last ship at a friends house who now also got rid of csble T.V. we are both ill and cannot afford the hihh cost of cable services.
ReplyDeleteIrene, I know what you mean. Remember when shows were all free on TV.
