I know, March isn't spring, but it's so close. Right? March gives us hope that spring is coming even if it brings more snowy days, too. My daffodils are six inches high. Winter is on it's way out. I couldn't be happier.
I have another reason for liking this month. It brings the release of my new book, An Unexpected Amish Romance.
I love to include a laugh or two in my stories but this is the first downright funny book I've tried to pull off. It's not really what you would expect in an Amish romance. That's the joy of it.
The Art Dept has given me another great cover that really reflects the tone of the book but there is a flaw in this I failed to see when I was given my cover break to review. Can you spot the un-Amish oops? I'll let you try. I'll be back later to check and see who found it.
Hmm...I'm stumped. I'm guessing the dog being in the house, but its a guess. Can't wait to hear what others suggest. Thanks, Patricia.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, Mary. It isn't the dog in the house. I'm eager to see others guess, too.

ReplyDeleteSorry George, but that isn't the mistake. Thanks for commenting. Have a great day.
DeleteI love the cover, but I have no idea what is amiss. Can't wait to find out!
ReplyDeleteGood morning Christine. Thanks for commenting. I'll wait a little longer to see if anyone gets the right answer.
DeleteGeorge's Wife here Brenda , the cinnamon rolls store bought !
ReplyDeleteOoh, good guess Brenda but no that's not the un-Amish part of the picture
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful cover, no matter what the error is.
ReplyDeleteI have to agree. I love it, especially the look on the dog's face. It makes me smile whenever I see it.
ReplyDeleteOkay, here is the blooper. My heroine has her hair parted to the side. Amish women always part their hair in the middle. One sharp-eye reader pointed that out to me when I first posted the cover on my Facebook page. Thanks everyone for having a go at this.
ReplyDeleteI just saw this post late this afternoon and I did see the hair parted to the side right away. I know that the women have always had it parted in the middle.
DeleteKaren, thanks for commenting. I didn't see it soon enough to have the art dept change it. In fact I didn't notice it until a reader pointed it out and then I smacked myself on the forehead but it is a cute cover anyway.
DeleteI would have just thought that she had a hard time with her hair. I like the cover and the dog.
DeleteThanks for dropping by and leaving a comment. Yes, you are right it is her hair.
DeleteI thought maybe she had on earrings. I never thought about the hair. Still a lovely cover, Patricia!!!
ReplyDeleteI was wondering about her cap. Looks odd. Never saw one like that.
ReplyDeleteI have to admit I never have either. Looks a little like a pastry chef hat. LOL.
DeleteAlso wondered about the apron. It seems to go all the way around.
ReplyDeleteI was going to say her hairdo, but I got here too late. :)
ReplyDeleteIt is a beautiful cover!
Well, I'll count you as having the right answer anyway. Thanks for commenting.
DeleteGreat cover, Patricia. I never looked at her parted hair. Like Lenora, I wondered if she was wearing earrings. I couldn't tell on my monitor! A humorous LI Amish romance sounds delightful! Can't wait to read!
ReplyDeleteI am going to say looks like her hair in the cap just seems off?
ReplyDeleteYou would have been right. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. Hope you have a great day.
