Happy holidays--with a book drawing Roxanne Rustand

Hi everyone,

Goodness,  This month has been absolutely flying by. It seems as if we just had Thanksgiving, and here we are--December 12th! Maybe it's the lack of snow that has me running behind, because it just doesn't seem like a traditional, white Christmas season just yet.  I had to nab an old photo of our barnyard from a few years back to add a bit of Christmas flavor to this post!

So...what are your plans for Christmas? Are you one of those amazing people who get everything done early, or at you a bit of a procrastinator, like me?

We got our Christmas cards sent two days ago, the house is decorated, and now I need to wrap presents and get them under the tree.  And bake--but I don't dare do that too early because they are so addicting!  This time of year, I am so tempted by all of the holiday recipe magazines along the checkout line at the grocery. Are you baking much this year? Trying anything new? Or do you prefer to stay out of the kitchen if you can?

Something else that tempts me are all of the beautiful Christmas covers for the Love Inspired novels. Aren't they lovely?  I want to curl up in front of the fireplace and read them all instead of getting things done!
If you leave a comment, you will be in drawing for a free e-book copy of Montana Mistletoe!

Best wishes to all of you for a blessed Christmas and a wonderful New Year!

  1. Hi Roxanne. Great post. I love your sweet holiday cover. And I am quite jealous because you sound as if you're really on top of all things Christmasy. I dread getting out my holiday cards. I'm so bad at it they usually turn into Happy New Year cards. LOL

  2. Adorable book cover, Roxanne! We have family in Montana, but I can guarantee you we WON'T be visiting them at Christmas! We warned them when they moved there that we'd only visit in the summer. Send me somewhere warm and sunny--please!!!

  4. Merry Christmas! I love to celebrate all month, decorating, presents, and looking at Christmas lights. I enjoy listening to Christmas music on the radio and it seems even more special at church. Jesus is the reason for the season!

  6. Love your photo and cover! I'm almost done with shopping and mailed gifts to family who won't be able to join us for Christmas...but still need to do cards and wrap presents for those here in my local area.

We also have three December birthdays, which add to the fun!:)

Like a few of you, I have a January deadline, but Christmas comes first!

    Hugs to all!

  7. I usually like to do things early, but this year I have had to procrastinate just based on money issues and our schedules. I love, love, love Christmastime.
