Getting stood up on a blind date was the best thing that could happen to police officer Max Decker. No small talk. No personal questions. No lies. And no pretending he's ready to give his heart to anyone. Anyone like vulnerable Brianna McKaslin—who was stood up in the same restaurant! The lovely, kind, Christian woman is everything the embittered cop used to dream about in a bride. And Max can't be the one who lets her get away.
I saw this book when I saw Tides of Hope by Irene Hannon. I, also, had to buy this book as soon as I read the back cover! My friend is waiting in line to borrow it already!
ReplyDeleteThanks for supplying such great reading material!

Question: I notice this is a part of the McKaslin Clan series. Does one need to read all of the books in order to understand what is going on or do the books stand alone?
ReplyDeleteLove LI books. Thanks
ReplyDeleteOoh, this sounds great!
ReplyDeleteEllen,
ReplyDeleteI'm forwarding your question to Jillian.
Project,
I just purchased Tides. I'm looking forward to reading it.
Abi and Mez,
Thanks so much for stopping by.
Ellen,
ReplyDeleteHere's the answer Jillian Hart sent me:
Ellen,
No, the books don't have to be read in order. They are meant to be stand alone books with continuing characters and a few light threads from book to book. There are three series of siblings, so it's probably easiest to read the books from the same series together, since it would be easier to keep the characters straight. Does that make sense? The book order is on my website, if that helps. Thank you.
