I have a simple blessing today. I cancelled a meeting at work, so now I only have two meetings instead of three, giving me time to grade some of the 100 composition essays on my desk.
ReplyDeleteI am also grateful that my son turned nine last Friday and feels oh so grown up. It's fun to watch.
Enjoy your easier day, Pamela!
ReplyDeleteI'm excited that I'm going to a retreat this weekend with other pastor's spouses. We always have such a fun, wonderful time with friends!
Pamela, enjoy the day and the teensy bit of breathing room!
ReplyDeleteMissy, have a wonderful time this weekend!
I was blessed this week to spend time at a botanical garden with some old and new-found friends. The day was cool, but the rain held off.
I'm thankful that I took a day off yesterday and visited with some friends who were staying down the road a bit in a beach house. We had a good lunch at a quaint café on the water. It did me good to get out of the house and laugh with other women. We do need our females friends so much!
ReplyDeleteI'm thankful for a beautiful day today--supposed to get bad again this weekend. But today is lovely.
ReplyDeleteGlad you got to spend time with friends yesterday, Lenora, and I glad you have some extra time today, Pamela. Missy and Christine, I hope you both enjoy your special weekends!
I'm thankful to be feeling so much better than I did a week ago! An infection with flu on top of that really zapped me. But each day I've gotten better, so I'm very thankful (AND we had sunshine today!).
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading everyone else's blessings and praises. Lenora, I agree that we do need our female friends!
Blessings, Patti Jo
Patti Jo, I'm glad you're feeling better. I'm a day late, but I'm grateful that I have turned in my latest proposal. I'm still trying to figure out what is the best time line for multi-book contracts.
