Ask Elnora--About Books? Lenora Worth
This will be short and sweet, my sweethearts. Elnora and the Internet are not agreeing today. We’ve had connection problems all week. What we have here is a failure to communicate.
I’ve been reading more lately, judging contests and trying to get through my “to read” pile. When we make the big move later this year, alas, Elnora can’t take all of the books. So I must read, read, read.
So before I get kicked out of cyberspace and before I have another hissy fit about that happening, let’s discuss----books! What are you reading? Let’s name some names! I’ll tell you mine, too.

I'm reading RITA books, so I can't name names. :)
ReplyDeleteLOL, I'm reading RITA books too. I got nine, how many did you get?
ReplyDeleteI, too, am reading RITA books!! I've had some very good ones.
ReplyDeleteOn my list: Shattered Silence (ARC) by Margaret Daley. Always excited about reading anything Margaret writes! Wreath, by my friend Judy Christie. Awaiting her upcoming Downtown Green, too. Also, Addison Blakely, Confessions of a PK--by Betsy St. Amant! Do I know how to drop names, or what??
I just finished In Too Deep by Mary Connealy and have started Sweetwater Haven by Courtney Walsh. both are good books. next will be another review book then maybe a fun book. not that these are not fun its just I have to read some. (In too deep was a fun one).
ReplyDeleteMary is a talented lady!!
ReplyDeleteI just read Lindi Peterson's to-be-released, SUMMER SONG, which was fantastic! I'm a big fan of Lindi's writing and loved her debut novel, HER BEST CATCH. So, so good. She's an author to watch and to read!!!
ReplyDeleteI just finished Christmas in Sugarcreek. I haven't started my next book yet as I was so tired. I see Merrille commented on here and I read a lot of her books and review them. I read and review for Dana Mentink too. Margaret Daley is another special of mine and Janet Tronstand. Mary Connealy has reviews written by me. You can find lots of those I've read under Amazon if you want to look up what I have reviewed.
ReplyDeleteMy TBR book is large and it never is too tall. I love love love books.
By reviewing at no charge and then sharing books I've read, I feel like I get to minister to Author and also to person who gets the book.

I'm reading cherished by Kim Cash Tate.
ReplyDeleteI'm reading Sarah's Heart for my book group. It's amazing so far.
ReplyDeleteSorry for your internet problems, Lenora! I always throw a hissy fit, too, when mine won't work. :)
I recently finished Gone to Green and went to Amazon to see if there were any more. Who knew there are so many. I'm looking forward to reading them all. But, while I'm waiting for any annual bonus to buy them, I've started My So-called Love Life by Allie Pleiter. I won it as a prize for coming closest to guessing our total take at our church's winter book sale.
ReplyDeleteLots of great books!! Good to hear so many names and titiles I recognize. I wish I had time to read ALL of my LI sisterhood books. So many talented writers!!
