ONE GOOD THING FRIDAY

The Craftie Ladies would like to set aside Fridays to acknowledge and celebrate the good things that are happening in our lives and we hope that you will join in and tell us about the blessings you have encountered as well.

  1. My one good thing is that my best friend had a baby last week, and after fighting a nasty bout of jaundice Mom and baby got to go home yesterday. Now if only I had plane tickets to Kansas to go see them!!!

  2. Naomi, I'm so glad baby is home! We've all been praying!

I add my thanks to yours!

I'm also thankful that I attended the wonderful ACFW Conference last week and was able to connect with so many wonderful friends, both old and new. The entire experience was a gift from God...all so, so good. I had asked Him to walk ahead of me and direct my steps, and He did.

So that's my one good thing today!!

  4. My good thing is that god has never forsaken me and always believed in me even when i wonder off the trail to do my own thing and yet he draws me back to him with the help of the love inspired books i read when a pause from life is just what i need.

  5. Scraproni, your comment brightened my day! That's definitely my one good thing today.

So much to be thankful for this week: prayers answered, the wonderful ACFW conference, God's protection during travel, blessings at home... The blessings go on and on. Our God is amazing!

  7. Lyn, I share your feelings. It is so nice in Tx. Mid 80's. Haven't seen that since May.

But my major praise is I'm 1/2 through chemo for lymphoma. My MRI and cat scan shows no abnormalities. Thank you, Lord.

  8. Leann, I didn't know you were going through chemo. Covering you with prayer. Keep us posted!

    Much love!

  9. I was hoping to share good news from my visit to the specialist but it seems it was the wrong specialist so he's referred me one. While it was disappointing it is good news as if I had waited over 2 years on the public system I would have seen the same sort of specialist only to be told I needed to see a different one and then would have been put back on a waiting list for who knows how long. This way I get to see someone in 3 weeks so its a good thing and gives time for my sinus issue to get better.

    LeAnn, we're thinking of you.

My good news is that I'm catching up on grading, but need to leave in ten minutes to go pick up Mike from school LOL

  14. I guess I'm really behind, because I didn't know Melissa's baby had arrived until today! But so glad she and the baby are doing well now.

Leann, I'm sorry you're going through that but happy you got good test results. Am adding you to my prayer list!

Jenny, I'm happy for your good news too, and hoping by then your sinus issue is better. Praying for you too!

I'm also very thankful for my blessings during the ACFW conference last week--God is SO good! Am also thankful for safe travels (I do not enjoy flying, LOL).
    Blessings, Patti Jo :)
