Lyn Cote--Question for you

Hey, blog-readers!
Will you answer a few questions for me?

1-What types of blog posts here do you like best?

a-blogs about new Love Inspired books?
b-blogs where the author shares about her personal life?
c-blogs with favorite recipes?
d-interviews with authors?
e-round robin stories by the authors here
f-write your own description of your favorite type of posts.

2-Do you leave comments so you will be entered in the monthly contest? Or do you forget? GRIN

3-Would you miss this blog if it went away? Why or why not?

So let us know what your opinions are? Curious authors want to know!

  1. Lyn, you packed a lot in your post.

I enjoy Craftie Ladies most for the writers' personal experiences influencing their writing, behind the scenes about the books, and other book related topics. I like everything else but I come primarily for Love Inspired news.

I do try to check in for the drawing but more for the information.

As far as the blog disappearing, I have noticed that numerous group author blogs do not seem to get a lot of traffic. There are often a lot of readers who are not commentators but I do know that the blogsphere is full to overflowing these days. I also know many of you are involved in other blogs linked to Harlequin and other writers groups. How do you have the time???

What would work if Crafties went away? A lot of authors I follow on Facebook link to their own blogs or websites. I don't tweet so don't really know about Twitter.

Will be praying for you all to discern whatever changes may be best for you...keep us informed.

    Peace, Julie

  2. Thank you, Julie. We appreciate the input. I hope others will tell us what they like, don't like.

  3. Hi Julie,
Don't worry. We're not planning on disappearing any time soon. Just wanted to know what you'd miss most!

  4. Lyn - you really asked a loaded question in the first question. I like blogs that give me an insight into my favorite authors or introduce me to a new author. I like the blogs where the authors share a little about themselves and their writing. If that meanings including a recipe or 2, all the better.

I also like the round robin stories.

Yes, I comment on the blogs, but not just for the contests, though they are fun and I have won several. I just like to see what others are sharing.

As to the third question, PLEASE don't discontinue the blog! I really like the connectedness it gives me to you ladies. I know that blogging takes a lot of time and preparation for you ladies, but the effort is truly appreciated by those of us who follow you and your books.

  5. Great idea to ask the questions, Lyn! I love hearing what readers like.

Julie and Beemama, thanks so much for taking part!

  6. Yes, thanks Julie and beemama! We'll keep it up and a Christmas story will be coming in the near future. Don't miss it!
