have found a way to use donated human tissue (through deceased organ donors) to
create “allografts” for people with severe nerve injuries, and the results have
been promising. Several people with severed sciatic nerves in their thighs had
nerve grafts using AxoGen’s allograft products and recovered well enough to
walk without use of crutches or a cane.
