Whoops! Fall Stuff

Sorry for this going up late. I thought I scheduled it but I think Blogger burped or something because it didn't post.

Fall is my favorite time of year. I live in a woodsy area so the forests are starting to look like an earth-toned rainbow scrolling by my window as I drive down the road.

I love pumpkin pie and scarecrows. I love deep purple mums and rust colored mums in big thick bunches. I love the smell of cider bubbling and the taste of cinnamon. I love camping this time of year, cooking on a campfire and roasting marshmallows. It's cool enough for a hoodie but not cold enough to require a heavy coat yet.

These are all things I love about fall.

I'd love to know your favorite season and why. I'd love to hear what your favorite part of fall is too.

The cover of my October book depicts fall well. I love the artist's rendition of the twins tossing leaves in the air. Soldier Daddy is still in stores but only for a few more days. Hope you hurry and get your copy. Let me know what you think of it.

Talk away!

Happy Fall,

Cheryl Wyatt

  1. I used to think fall was my favorite, but that was when I lived up north. Down here in FL, I think spring is my favorite. It's not too hot, and it holds the promise of the summer to come.

  2. I love the fall, I like it better than any other season, as hear just kills me and in the spring I am so afraid of storms, summer is too hot and I like winter also, I can wrap up and get warm but can't get cooled off very good. A senior moment for an old lady.

  4. Hey Cheryl!
I LOVE the cover too. I have commented before about that : )

I think that spring is one of my favorites because I like how it feels like a fresh start. I love hearing the birds again and the flowers. It's like the Earth is waking up after a long sleep(really long up here in Vermont!).

However, I also like winter do a degree. I love the Christmas feeling. You know, that warm feeling everyone gets during the "Christmas Season". Lol...it's just nice.
    Thanks!

  6. Hi Edna, I know what you mean about storms. We live in tornado alley. Seems no matter where you live, there's some sort of danger of natural disaster though. LOL.

Thank you for coming by and commenting. I appreciate it.

    Hugs

  7. Patti! I saw a squirrel today. It ran across a power line and I was yelling at it, trying to knock it off with rocks so it didn't get electrocuted. LOL. People were looking at me funny.

The funny thing was, I know if you'd been there, you'd have been trying to toss rocks at it too in order to save it. LOL.

I just kept thinking, "Patti would appreciate and understand this."

Cars driving by were slowing waaaaaay down to see what in the world I was doing. LOL.

Thank you for coming by and sharing with us. It's always a treat to hear from you.

    Hugs!

  10. Thanks Cheryl! It is absolutely no problem dropping by...I love talking with you all so much!

Lol about the squirrel thing : ) I would've stopped partially to see what you were doing and partially to see you! Lol...we don't see people saving squirrels much around these parts : P

Schoolwork...ughhhhh! Hands...doing a bit better I think. Not sure, still haven't started any strengthening yet.

    Thanks!

  11. You know, I could see that in the opening of a romance novel. Heroine is tossing rocks at a squirrel to try and save it and one of her rocks accidentally misfires due to bad aim and she shatters hero's windshield. LOL!

And maybe hero owns a pecan tree farm and thinks squirrels are a menace because they run off with his best pecans. LOL!

    Hmmm.....mentally plotting now...

    LOL!

    Hugs all,

    Cheryl
