So What Did You Get?

What books did you get for Christmas? Anyone get a book they'd been longing for?

Before Christmas, I was wanting to read another Christmas themed book and found at Walmart Mail Order Christmas Brides by Jillian Hart and Janet Tronstad. It was a wonderful book and I enjoyed both stories. I think that book made the USA today extended list. Ladies, am I right?

  1. I got your book to read in the crazy week before Christmas! Gift cards for my Kindle were given to me for my birthday a couple of weeks before that.

Sniff! Why can't books go on sale like sweaters after December 25th?

It's my own fault. I should post a picture of my TBR pile and the number of books to be read on my Kindle!

    Peace, Julie

  2. Julie, I think sometimes the Harlequin website has books on sale. I know, I've picked up several books from friends that I missed. Now, I don't know if the Kindle format goes on sale. I wish.

  5. My husband gave me PD James's Death Comes to Pemberley. I think it's because he's a James fan! LOL! But I can't wait to read it, too.
